Social stratification is the divisions of a population into two or more layers ,each of which is relatively homogeneous and together in the middle of which there are differences in privileges, restrictions, rewareles and obligations, stratification involves rank differention and constitutes an order of ranking upon the basis of relative viewpoint within the ratin__ system working in organization.

Some societies movement, allowance and health, education are considered in accessory societies, ownership of landed property , ancestry, and relatives publicize may be most important; in still oters education,caste, creed and undertaking or shape as soon as authorities may rank high as social value.
Despit the variation , be annoyed more or less , disapproval arecommon in societies there is some determinants or factors of status as follwing in Bangladesh:-
1.Wealth:----in some form as recognised by action--measured in sum or assessed in vibes. bustling standards displayed and the source of loads is as well as significant.
2.Ancestry:--referring to the relatives reputation,length of home in the place, legitimacy or illegitimacy, racial or ethnic background and nationality.
3.Functional minister to of the individual:---- his  work as doling out, literary, scientist,unskilled labourer, practiced craftsman.
4.Religion:---the available and degree of religion professed and adept.All societies put in some attitude towards the supernatural expressed in the form of a religion gone sets of beliefs and rituals,
5.Biological characteristics:---including both age and sex. Adulthood is valued subsequent to again infancy and childhood in most of the societies ,and males are accorded well along status than females in many societies. Closely merged to both age and sex is creature beauty according to standards defined by the group.
