1. Milch type breed
a) High yield: 1) Sannen,  2) Toggenburg, 3) Alpine, 4) Anglo-Nubian.
b) Medium yield: 1) Barbari, 2) Beetal, 3)Black Bedouin, 4)Damari, 5)Damascus, 6)Jamnapari
2. Meat type breed:  a) Boer, b) Ma “T” ou, c) Kambing katjang, d) Black Bengal
3. Prolific type breed: a) Barbari, b) Boer, c) Black Bengal, d) Ma “T” ou
4. Mohair type breed: a) Angora
5. Pashmina (Cashmere) type breed: a) Kashmiri.
6. Skin type breed; a) Black Bengal, b) Maradi.
7. Desert (milk+meat) type breed: a) Black Bedouin.

a)  Breeds of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh/ Breeds of subcontinental area
1) Jamunapari , Beetal, Surti                   - India
2) Barbari                                                 - India + Pakistan

4) Black Bengal                                       - India + Bangladesh
5) Balaban , Osmaraba
